Meadow Gold is a traditionally made, artisan, pasteurised cows' milk cheese which is produced by Suffolk Farmhouse Cheeses in Coddenham. The milk is from Guernsey cows.

It is a fresh curd cheese which is suited for making tarts and cheesecakes, but also delicious spread on toast or savoury biscuits. It is made with vegetarian rennet.

Update
The current Suffolk Farmhouse Cheese website makes no mention of Meadow Gold so it is possible that this product may be discontinued. Chef 17:11, 2 December 2009 (GMT)
Other Meadow Gold Cheeses
The Borden Food Corporation of America also produces cheeses under the Meadow Gold brand, as does the Hawaiian dairy company of the same name.
