Also known as Sykes Fell Lancashire Ewes cheese, Lancashire Ewes is made by the Proctor family in Goosnargh at Greenhill’s Dairy. It is produced from the [[pasteurised]] [[milk]] of the Friesland breed of sheep which is sourced from John Stott's milking parlour at nearby Chipping village in the Ribble Valley.

The [[cheese]], which is matured for 2 - 3 months, has a clean, mellow, sweet flavour, and is made from vegetarian [[rennet]]. It is named after Sykes Fell, a local hill.
