Jura is a pressed, cooked, unpasteurised cows’ [[milk]] [[cheese]] from the Franches mountains, close to the border with France.  It is part of the [[Gruyère]] family, but its reputation on the market has always suffered from the reputation of the authentic [[Gruyère]].&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The mature Jura [[cheese]] is aged for at least 14 months has a stronger, herbier flavour than [[Gruyère]].&lt;br /&gt;
