| Remove the rind from a 4 further [[Bacon|bacon]] rashers and add to a pan with the [[Carrot|carrot]], [[Onion|onion]], [[Bay leaf|bay leaf]] and [[Nutmeg|nutmeg]].&lt;br /&gt;
| Add about 170 ml [[Chicken stock|chicken stock]] and the [[Hare|hare]], spine upwards.&lt;br /&gt;
| Cover the pan, bring to the [[Boil|boil]], then allow to [[Simmer|simmer]] over a reduced heat until the [[Hare|hare]] is tender.&lt;br /&gt;
| Add more [[Stock|stock]] as and when necessary.&lt;br /&gt;
| Remove the [[Hare|hare]] and keep warm.&lt;br /&gt;
| Mix the [[Flour|flour]] with a little of the cold [[Stock|stock]] or water and mix it with the hot stock in the pan.&lt;br /&gt;
