Hampton Blue is a semi-hard, organic [[Blue cheese|blue cheese]] made by [[Melissa]] Ravenhill of Woefuldane Farm, Minchinhampton near Stroud. The [[Unpasteurised|unpasteurised]] [[Milk|milk]] used is organic and comes from the producer’s own herd of Shorthorn [[Cows|cows]].&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The [[Cheese|cheese]] was created for the opening of their shop a few years ago and has a powerful bite similar to [[Roquefort]] bite with a wonderful creamy texture and distinctive aftertaste. It is made over two days and matured for as little as two weeks in summer and four in winter.  Pale yellow in colour the blue veining is amazing.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The [[Cheese|cheese]], which is suitable for vegetarians, is only available at the farmer’s markets in [[Gloucester]], Stroud, Cirencester and Cheltenham and a few local shops.&lt;br /&gt;
