Hadrian is produced by the Northumberland [[Cheese]] Company, at Blagdon in the south of Northumberland, using [[Pasteurised|pasteurised]] [[Cows|cows]]’ [[Milk|milk]] and [[Vegetarian rennet|vegetarian rennet]].

It is a younger version of [[Cheviot cheese]], but with a sprinkling of [[Caraway seeds|caraway seeds]], which stimulates and cleanses the palate, lending a cool, dry and sophisticated finish to a creamy smooth [[Cheese|cheese]]. The use of [[Caraway seeds|caraway seeds]] in [[cheese]] dates back to the Romans.

The [[Cheese|cheese]] is sold in [[Wedges|wedges]] of 125g.
