Granformaggi is a hard pasteurised [[cheese]] using cows’ [[milk]] from mountain farms in SalzburgerLand.&lt;br /&gt;

The [[cheese]] has an Italian style texture and is matured in Lodi, near Milan in Italy. It has a fine-grained texture and a straw-yellow colour, with a smooth, golden yellow rind. It has a mild and subtle flavour and can be served broken into pieces or grilled.&lt;br /&gt;

Weighing about 23 kg, the [[cheese]] has a diameter of 37 cm and is sold in wedges of 300 g and 1.5kg&lt;br /&gt;
