| Add the [[Butter|butter]] to a [[Frying pan|frying pan]] or [[Wok|wok]], give it a good grind of [[Black pepper|black pepper]] and gently [[Fry|fry]] the [[Onions|onions]] for 15 minutes&lt;br /&gt;
| Once the [[Onions|onions]] are golden, carefully add the drained [[Sweetcorn|sweetcorn]]&lt;br /&gt;
| [[Stir-fry]] the [[Sweetcorn|sweetcorn]] for a few minutes then remove the pan from the heat and set to one side.&lt;br /&gt;
| Add the [[Eggs|eggs]], [[milk]], [[Cornmeal|cornmeal]], [[Flour|flour]], [[Baking powder|baking powder]], a pinch of [[Salt|salt]] and most of the [[Cheese|cheese]] (leaving a little to sprinkle on the top) and beat until really well mixed.&lt;br /&gt;
| Stir in the onions and sweetcorn and mix again.  It helps to leave the mixure to rest for 10 minutes after the first mix to allow the cornmeal to soak up the milk.&lt;br /&gt;
| Grease two 22cm round flan sandwich tins with a little [[Olive oil|olive oil]], line the base with [[Greaseproof paper|greaseproof paper]] and pour in the [[Cornbread|cornbread]] mixture.&lt;br /&gt;
