Birdwood Traditional Double Gloucester cheese is an organic, unpasteurised, Shorthorn cows’ [[milk]] [[cheese]] made by Melissa Ravenhill of Woefuldane Farm, Minchinhampton near Stroud.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Produced with [[milk]] from their own farm-assured herd, the [[cheese]] is made in deep rounds, which are firm but supple and smooth. Beneath the rind the texture is firm and the colour is a deep orange, with a nutty and mellow flavour.  It is matured for at least 3 months.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The [[cheese]], which is suitable for vegetarians, is only available at the farmer’s markets in Gloucester, Stroud, Cirencester and Cheltenham and a few local shops.  However, you can buy the [[cheese]] by mail order, directly from the [http://www.fresh-n-local.co.uk farm].&lt;br /&gt;
