Baguette laonnaise is a cows’ milk cheese from Laon in the Aisne department.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
It is a soft, washed-rind [[cheese]] with a sticky, pungent, orange-brown rind.  Of medium strength, it has a full bodied taste&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The [[cheese]] has been produced since 1940, and is related to [[Maroilles cheese|Maroilles]].  It is loaf shaped and is matured for about four months.&lt;br /&gt;
