Amadeus is a pasteurised cows’ [[milk]] [[cheese]] from Voitsberg in Styria (Steiermark) and is named after Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.&lt;br /&gt;

The [[cheese]] has a pale yellow, smooth, creamy, rich texture with occasional, round holes and a mild, aromatic flavour.  It has a black waxed rind.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The cylindrical [[cheese]] has a diameter of 25 cm, a height of 9 cm and weighs about 4.4 kg.  It is matured for a minimum of eight weeks.&lt;br /&gt;
