List of ingredients for Barbecued balsamic chicken fillets

* 4 skinless chicken breasts or 8 chicken drumsticks
* 3 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar
* 2 teaspoons demerara sugar, jaggery or brown sugar
* 1 tablespoon olive oil
* 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds
* A handful of fresh parsley, chopped
* Salt and freshly ground black pepper

* Put the balsamic vinegar, sugar, olive oil and salt and pepper into a bowl and mix well
* Cut a few slashes into either side of the chicken pieces
* Add the chicken pieces to the mixture and marinate for an hour or so in a cool place (cover with tin-foil or cling-film)
* Cook the chicken on a hot, oiled barbecue hotplate for a total of about 15 minutes, turning now and again
* Check they are properly cooked then sprinkle with sesame seeds and freshly chopped parsley
