* 600g fresh Strawberries, hulled and cut in half (cut into quarters if particularly large)
* 60ml freshly squeezed Lemon juice
* 330g Caster sugar
* 330ml full Fat Milk
* 600ml Double cream
* 1½ teaspoons Vanilla extract
===Method===
* Place the Strawberries in a bowl and mix with the Lemon juice and 110g of the Sugar and leave for 2 hours to allow the sugar to dissolve
* Pour into a tall jug and add the remaining ingredients except for the Cream
* Blend until the mixture is smooth using a Stick blender
* Add the Cream and Blend briefly
* Allow to chill in the Fridge for at least 1 hour
* Pour into your Ice-cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions
* Transfer into a container and keep in the Freezer
