I need to double check, but 225g seems a massive amount of popping corn. I would think you would need a dustbin to pop that amount!

I would also be *very* inclined to add the chilli powder to popped corn in a container rather than the pan. Whenever I have added seasoning, powdered spices, sugar, directly to the pan, it burns immediately and spoils the popcorn because of the intense heat.
