Re onions. I store them in the fridge normally, but if for example, I have only used half an onion I keep the other half in the fridge in a Lock & Lock Onion Dome --JuliaBalbilla 11:17, 29 June 2012 (BST)

I never store whole onions in the fridge. Sometimes I will store a cut onion in the fridge, face down on a saucer.

From the Googling I did, the consensus seemed to be out of fridge. However, discussion is invaluable to get to the truth :-)
