Talk:Baked potatoes

From Cookipedia

Which breed of potato did you use this time? Looks great! I tried my experiment of leaving the spuds overnight to drain. They did look a bit dodgy but tasted reasonable. They were Wiljas though which are not my favourites. Have some Marfonas to use up so will try with them, but hope to get a sack of good King Teds shortly. --JuliaBalbilla 04:57, 13 December 2011 (GMT)

Just supermarket offering 'Baking Potatoes', nothing special. However they always give great results with a sweetish skin. --Chef 08:57, 13 December 2011 (GMT)

OK. I have some Marfonas at the moment and will try with them today. I am letting Heston (the TM) have a rest today. BTW Apples calls you 'Jerry the Meat-Murderer' now because of your meat/fruit recipes:-)--JuliaBalbilla 11:07, 13 December 2011 (GMT)

He'll think no better of me if he learns that tonight's left-overs are to be accompanied by a chopped banana - 1970's curry-style!

Oh, named after this Heston? NSFW (not safe for work)

Je, je, je :-) Yes, the very same Heston. The Hostess Trolley is called Delia so we call them the Waitrose Twins. Gosh, I remember having bananas in curries years ago, and yes he will have a fit! :-) --JuliaBalbilla 13:24, 13 December 2011 (GMT)
