Swedish Fontina cheese

About Swedish Fontina cheese

Swedish Fontina is produced from semi-skimmed cows’ milk and is quite different from the Italian original in that it lacks depth of flavour and has no fruity aroma.

The cheese is semi-hard and has a smooth texture with small holes. It has a mild and slightly tangy taste and is coated in red wax
