An old favourite from the days of the Hostess Trolley :-)

Ingredients

Method

  1. Line 4 bowls or dishes with the cabbage and lettuce mixture.
  2. Sprinkle the onion and cucumber over the top.
  3. Make the Marie Rose sauce by thoroughly mixing the mayonnaise, tomato ketchup, Tabasco and brandy.
  4. Spoon over the prawns and sprinkle the Cayenne pepper over the top,
  5. Garnish with a lemon slice and serve.

Serving suggestions

This is traditionally served with thin slices of wholemeal bread and butter.
