Great for snacking on while the barbecue food cooks - just don't overdo it!

Ingredients

  • 12 vine leaves
  • 12 slices of pancetta
  • 200g (7 oz) pecorino cheese, thinly sliced

Method

  1. Flatten the vine leaves

  2. Lay a slice of pancetta on each
  3. Smother with pecorino cheese
  4. Roll or fold the leaves
  5. Cook on an oiled barbecue plate for 2 minutes a side

Variations

Add a dash of garlic olive oil on each vine leaf

Maybe a few chili flakes
