Mozzarella di Bufala Campana cheese

Mozzarella di Bufala Campana is a DOP cheese made from whole buffalo milk throughout Campania and in the provinces of Latina, Frosinone and Roma, all of which are in the region of Lazio.
The uncooked cheese has a spun texture and can come in various shapes: round, plaited, pearl, cherry or knot. It is textured, with a porcelain-white colour, and has an extremely thin rind and a delicate flavour. It is also available smoked.
