Mildsiter cheese

Mildsiter is a rindless, pasteurised cows’ milk cheese from the SalzburgerLand which is similar to Tilsiter cheese but with a milder aroma and a sweeter flavour.

The mild, sweet cheese is yellow in colour and has semi-hard, smooth texture with small holes. It is produced in blocks measuring 25 cm x 12.5 cm x 8.5 cm approx. Weighing 3 kg, it is matured for five weeks.
