Lancashire Ewes cheese

Also known as Sykes Fell Lancashire Ewes cheese, Lancashire Ewes is made by the Proctor family in Goosnargh at Greenhill’s Dairy. It is produced from the pasteurised milk of the Friesland breed of sheep which is sourced from John Stott's milking parlour at nearby Chipping village in the Ribble Valley.

The cheese, which is matured for 2 - 3 months, has a clean, mellow, sweet flavour, and is made from vegetarian rennet. It is named after Sykes Fell, a local hill.
