How to use the recipe summary

This is very rough documentation. Much has still to be done!

Recipe summary example

The recipe summary template system enables automatic creation of the recipe summary example shown on this page.

Always place after {{template:CookTools}}

Image Comments

If there is text to the right of the ImageComment tag, that text will be emboldened and centered under the image in two table cells.

Servings

Text to the right of the = is added to the page

If no text is present, the page is added to the Category:Recipes without servings category

Recipe difficulty

The difficulty levels are from 0 to 3

• 0 = Recipe unclassified
  • Page added to Category:Unranked recipes category
• 1 = Easy
  • Page added to Category:Easy recipes category
• 2 = Medium/average difficulty
  • Page added to Category:Average_difficulty_recipes category
• 34 = Very difficult
  • Page added to Category:Difficult recipes category

Cooking times

• TotalTime = preparation time + cooking time
• Preparation time = time taken to prepare the dish for cooking
• Cooking time = time taken to cook the dish for cooking

If there is no text to the right of the = on only the Total time section, the page will be added to Category:Recipes without cooking time category
