Bica de Queijo cheese

Bica de Queijo is an unpasteurised farmhouse cheese made with a mixture of cows’, goats’, and ewes’ milk.

Having a distinctive yet mild, buttery flavour and a satiny texture the cheese weighs about 400 g. Like most Portuguese cheeses, Bica de Queija has a distinct, slightly salty flavour, because its milk comes from animals that graze on land near the sea.
