Baguette laonnaise cheese

Baguette laonnaise is a cows’ milk cheese from Laon in the Aisne department.

It is a soft, washed-rind cheese with a sticky, pungent, orange-brown rind. Of medium strength, it has a full bodied taste

The cheese has been produced since 1940, and is related to Maroilles. It is loaf shaped and is matured for about four months.
